Planning guide · Assess outdoor exposure, equipment access and your actual water supply.
Look closely at the outdoor position
If equipment will be exposed to coastal conditions, ask the manufacturer about suitability, installation requirements and relevant warranty exclusions. Share photos showing how sheltered the location is. Do not assume every enclosure or hot water unit is suitable for every outdoor position. The assessment should also consider access for inspection and whether vegetation could obstruct the equipment.
Account for stairs and level changes
Where there are stairs, steep paths or retaining walls, send a wide photo of the route before the visit. A hot water tank’s position must work for delivery and future replacement as well as daily operation. For filtration, note where the incoming line can be accessed without treating garden beds or stored items as permanent working space.
Separate mains water from other connections
Tell us if the property has a separate non-mains water connection or more than one water source. A system should not be selected on the assumption that every outlet has the same supply. Our listed services remain whole-home filtration, under-sink RO and heat pumps; any treatment proposal must be assessed against the actual supply and the selected product’s documented limits.
Have these ready for your enquiry
- A wide photo of the proposed outdoor position
- Stairs, gates and level changes on the delivery route
- Which supply serves the kitchen and hot water unit
Can a suburb name determine which filter I need?
No. Supply information, your concerns and product performance matter. We do not assign contamination or hardness claims to Northern Beaches suburbs.
